More Love and Respect

The plan:

Whether you've been married ten days or ten years, you’ve probably noticed that marriages are not built overnight, or simply on good intentions alone.  A good marriage is the ultimate relational challenge and the undertaking of a lifetime.  Life today is no friend of close relationships—especially marriage.  Hectic schedules, demanding jobs, financial pressures—even our personal interests—can all work together to pull us apart over time.  Come learn how you can strengthen your love and honor God with your marriage.   

Join us as we:

• Focus on key principles from Scripture that strengthen marriages
• Watch a video clip, play a game and laugh together
• Are reminded to forgive and love again
• Build foundations for an unshakable marriage

Speaker:

Dave Bovenmyer, who will celebrate 35 years of marriage to Dawn in March of this year, will lead our time together and walk us through some discussion after we watch a video clip from last year’s Love and Respect Conference in Des Moines. 

Schedule:

Saturday, February 13^th, 2010

Registration- Before Feb 7^th

6pm Arrive and get settled

6:15 or so Dinner is served

7-9:30 Fun, Games, Laughter, & Learning 

Note: there will be a time of note writing and expressing love to your spouse so you may want to consider bringing a small gift for your spouse.  Guys, ladies love this sort of thing- hint, hint!
