Women’s Book Club — This year’s book is The Emotionally Healthy Woman: Eight Things you Have to Quit to Change Your Life, by Geri Scazzero. Geri writes of her own struggles with pain, resentment, and an inauthentic, superficial spirituality. She invites us to share in her journey as she discovered greater emotional health and genuine freedom in Christ. The topics covered are: being afraid of what others think; lying; dying to the wrong things; denying anger, sadness, and fear; blaming; over functioning; faulty thinking; and living someone else’s life. Join us as we discuss a new chapter on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7 pm on Zoom, starting with Chapter 1 on Wednesday, Oct. 14. No fee and no registration. Books can be ordered on your own or contact Amy Miller (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Sept. 30 to join a group order ($12.50/copy).
