Thank You from Obria and Martha’s House of Hope – Thank you to all those who donated to the Obria and Martha’s House of Hope collection this Easter season!  The Lord had to have orchestrated every donation because the variety and amounts of each item could not have been more perfectly selected!  May these gifts bless both the parents and the children who receive them and may the work of Obria and Martha’s House continue to shine for our Lord, Jesus! This Week’s Sermon –   Pastor Dave will preach on “Jonah — True Confessions of a Prophet.” The book of Jonah tells the story of a man of God who became terribly lost and confused. And it tells of God’s mercy to turn him around and of God’s mercy to relent of His intention to destroy Nineveh, an extremely wicked city. All of us can relate to Jonah’s struggles to understand the will of God and his stubborn refusal to follow Him. How easy it is to become lost and confused and resistant to God’s leading whenever it fails to harmonize with our desires and plans. Let us guard our hearts and humble ourselves to accept God’s will and follow His Word, even when we don’t understand the whys or how His plans will result in good.

Memory Verse: “But I with the voice of thanksgiving will sacrifice to you; what I have vowed I will pay. Salvation belongs to the Lord!” (Jonah 2:9, ESV)
