Announcements for the Week of July 18

Announcements for the Week of July 18

No Nursery or Wee Worship this Week – Due to construction, there will be no nursery or Wee Worship this week. Nursery and Wee Worship will start back up again next week.

Discovery Classes Start Delayed – The schedule for the next series of Discovery Classes has been delayed. Watch the bulletin e-mail for new dates once they are determined. Discovery classes are open to people who are interested in finding out more about Stonebrook’s beliefs, history, vision, structure and possible membership.

Update on Construction – After a long delay, construction of the nursery, classroom, and gathering space has resumed. There are still some supplies on back order for the gathering space, so the contractors will be finishing up the nursery and Sunday school room, and doing what they can in the gathering space. Here is a schedule of construction for the rest of July:

The entryway tile has been torn out. Replacement will begin soon.

When the entryway tile is replaced, the new bathroom tile will be installed.

July 16 – LVP flooring will be installed in the gathering space and around the sink area in the nursery. Once the flooring is installed, the new furniture for the gathering space will be delivered.

July 19-21 – Carpet will be installed in the nursery, the new Sunday school room, the three existing Sunday school rooms in the back hallway, and in the new table storage closet.

It is exciting to see progress again! Please be praying for supplies to arrive and completion of the entire project to happen soon. Also, parents, please help you children to stay out of the construction areas and off of any piles of supplies, etc.

Memory Verse – Proverbs 18:21 NIV “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”5
