This Week’s Sermon –   Pastor Dave will preach on “Proverbs: Good Government.” We live in an age of increasing polarization in politics and society, and part of the divide involves different perspectives regarding the purpose and place of government. We Christians know that the God of Israel is the Lord and governor of all, and that He has a purpose and plan for human government. We’ve been studying the book of Proverbs. Today, since it’s the fourth of July, let’s see what Proverbs has to say about wise and effective government. And as we do, let’s rejoice in His amazing plan, purpose and wisdom.

Memory Verse – “By me kings reign, and rulers decree what is just; by me princes rule, and nobles, all who govern justly.” (Proverbs 8:15–16, ESV)
