  1. Read Psalm 100.  Why does God want us to start our prayers with praise and thanksgiving?
  2. How does music and singing stir us to offer praise and thanksgiving to God?
  3. Why does the Psalms refer to giving thanks as a sacrifice (Psalm 50:14, 107:22, 116:17;  also Hebrews 13:15)?
  4. Why are “praise” and “thanks” mentioned together in a number of the Psalms?  What is the connection?
  5. Describe a time when God did something special for you that caused you to marvel.
  6. How does remembering God’s past working in your life, stir you to continue trusting Him and exercising faith?
