Join us Sunday for another sermon in our series, “At a Crossroads,” on the book of Deuteronomy where God’s people were at a crossroads, choosing between life or death. We’ll find that this ancient yet timeless story is not unlike our lives even today, and through it we can gain perspective, even when the stakes are not as high. Listen to sermons from this…

A Mundane Life?

I have been a Christian for nearly 39 years. Over that span, I have read the Bible almost every morning, perhaps 13,000 times. I have attended Sunday church service nearly 2,000 times. I have joined frequent small groups such as Bible studies and Life Groups well over 1,000 times. I have joined with others 100’s of times for prayer. I have had meals with my family and friends well over 30,000 times. My conclusion? Life has tremendous potential to be…

Stonebrookers Serve and Share at Mega Mission

In early August, 15 Stonebrookers spent several days at Evergreen Church’s (our sister church in Twin Cities) mission called Mega Mission. The focus of the five-day mission to Lakeville and the surrounding suburbs of Minneapolis was to get the church active in the community. “We want to be known in our community as a church that takes action and makes a difference,” said Rob Busse, pastor of Evergreen Church. “This year’s Mega Mission motto was, ‘The church has left the…

Becoming a pastor – Luke Anderson

Pastor Luke Anderson has been with Stonebrook since day one. Matt Dickinson in Nepal

Stonebrook member Matthew Dickinson shared his testimony on a Sunday morning in January. He talked about what God has been doing in his life, in particular, using him in Nepal. Originally from Council Bluffs, Iowa, he came to Iowa State University to study Aerospace Engineering, but ended up graduating in 2014 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. During his studies, he connected with the Rock, and realized that his heart was not fully running after God. After God’s work in…

Improving Communication – Note From A Pastor

Hi Stonebrook family! As you may have heard, one of our primary focuses as an elder team this ministry year has been communication. To be honest, this is an area we have struggled with in years past.
