- Solomon warns of adding wisdom beyond what God has already given in his inspired scriptures. We are to test all things written by men by the truth of God’s Word. Why then do believers sometimes appear to know the words of mere men better than the word of God, or want to read the books of men at the expense of time in God’s word?
