Mission & Purpose

The Stonebrook Youth Group purpose is to help our 6th-12th grade students and their parents work together to discover their design and identity in Christ, and to desire Him more than anything the world has to offer. We believe that parents carry the responsibility of discipling and training their children in the Christian faith, and we want our Youth Group to come alongside and support those efforts!

Leadership & Weekly Gatherings

Our youth group is led by an admin team of parents of students in our youth group, overseeing content, calendar, and the team facilitating our youth group events. Our weekly MS and HS meeting times are facilitated by "young professionals" who are closer in age to the students, although we do have some parents helping as well. Our hope is that our weekly meetings can come alongside the work of discipling that parents are doing at home by studying the Bible together. By providing a safe and friendly atmosphere, we also believe the weekly meetings are a great opportunity for students to fellowship and build deeper relationships with other students and other members of the church who are older than they are, connecting them deeper to the church body.

Meeting Times & Locations

During the school year the Middle School (6th–8th) group meets from 7:00-8:30 PM on Tuesday and the High School (9th–12th) group meets from 7:00-8:30PM on Wednesday. The Youth Group is hosted at Stonebrook for music, Bible study, hangout time, and importantly, snacks. Over the summer, meeting locations vary, so contact us for more info.

Child and Youth Safety Program

For the protection of our youngest SCC members, all employees, staff members, adult volunteers or youth volunteers who will be involved in SCC youth ministries must read our safety policies and fill out some basic forms. Read about our Safety Program
