  1. Read Mark 14:3-11. Now read John 12:1-7 and Matthew 26:6-16. How are the accounts similar and different? Why do you think Mark included the details that he did in his account?

  3. Why was anointing Jesus not a waste in Mary’s eyes? Why was it not a waste in Jesus eyes?
  4. Mary worshipped Jesus without regard to other’s opinion. Where or how has other’s criticism or misunderstanding hindered Christians today from unabashedly seeking Christ’s approval alone?
  5. Compare and contrast the heart of Mary towards Jesus with the heart of Judas towards Jesus.
